Prasanna Kumari Samuel, former LWF leader, dies

Prasanna Kumari Samuel, 56, feminist theologian and a former Lutheran World Federation vice president, died March 16 in Chennai, India, of a heart attack.

At the time of her death, Kumari Samuel served as a professor of New Testament and head of women’s studies at Gurukul Lutheran Theological College in Chennai.
